CAES³AR (Collaborative and Efficient Scientific Software Support Architecture) is an open, discipline-independent initiative designed to improve the way research software is supported and maintained. The project aims to develop an infrastructure that automates and streamlines software support workflows. It aims to address challenges such as reproducing user issues, collaborative support in solving these and dealing with dependency-related problems, while fostering transparent collaboration between developers and users. By reducing the manual burden of technical support, CAES3AR ultimately aims to allow software-supporting research teams to focus more on scientific innovation and less on troubleshooting.

ConnOSS

ConnOSS (Connected Open Source Software)

ConnOSS is a DFG-funded research project that aims to help researchers showcase their software work and makes it easier for others to find and use research software. We believe that good research software should be visible, properly described, and easy to discover.

ConnOSS offers an automated infrastructure that generates consistent, harmonized, and enriched metadata for research software. Unlike manual metadata creation, which is time-consuming, or existing tools with limited coverage, ConnOSS streamlines the process—enabling researchers to enhance the visibility and FAIRness of their software with minimal effort.

CORSES

Föderale Forschungssoftwarekollaboration

With find.software (Foundations for Interdisciplinary Discovery of (Research) Software), we aim to develop a single point of entry for searching for research software. Imagine you are looking for scientific software, regardless of your scientific field, the programming language or operating system you use, your technical knowledge, or whether you are a developer or a simple user. To this end, we are working together with Wikidata and the scientific community to build a solution for the community and with the community, an open solution that knows no national boundaries.

FutuRSI

Next-Level RSE in Germany
